I combine evidence-based, gentle clinical care and emotional support with my sixteen years of experience attending hundreds of births and accompanying families through the postpartum process.

It is my honor and privilege to assist in the transition as families grow and celebrate their new little human.

I have worked in every setting: pediatric clinics, birth centers, hospitals, and home-based care. I currently provide postpartum midwifery home visits for the Millie clinic as well as private practice lactation and birth doula services for people birthing in East Bay hospitals (Kaiser Oakland and Alta Bates).

A researcher at heart, I love to learn what’s new in breastfeeding medicine and adapt my practice to the growing body of science about lactation.

I am an active member of the National Nurse’s Union campaign for CalCare (universal healthcare in California).
